Planning & Cost Control Engineer
Reference:
The ideal candidate will· Have 5 years experience in project planning and cost control activities gained in support of projects within the Oil and Gas industry.
· Be confident, highly motivated and be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude and approach.
· Be able to work within a project team, develop, co-ordinate and plan large or complex engineering issues, with many complex features.
· Be able to meet project technical and environmental requirements.
· Be conversant with recognised planning tools, such as MS Project & Primavera,
· Ensuring that a planning strategy is established for projects, so that the approach taken in each case is effective and appropriate to the project needs and client requirements
· Preparation of project plans, including time, resource and cost estimates for both on and off-shore activities
· Critical path planning to assure technical integrity of plans produced, so that all activities are achievable with project duration and cost minimized
· Taking proactive approach to ensure projects delivered to required scope, on time and to budget... i.e. not just reporting historical progress Providing accurate and meaningful progress measurement and reporting, so any necessary corrective action can be taken, and to support financial forecasting
